15 Founders in 15 Days – Aryn Tuinzing, University of Denver

It’s Day 9 in our 15 founders in 15 days segment, and we have a stellar addition to the GlobeMed family that we would like you to meet: Aryn Tuinzing from the University of Denver! Aryn is a triple threat sophomore majoring in Biology, Leadership Studies and Spanish. Rock on Aryn! To get to know this ambitious founder a little bit better, read this great excerpt from her inspiring application:
“I have been very ill for the last three years dealing with severe sinus and respiratory complications. Throughout this time, I have interacted with many different doctors and have been incredibly fortunate to have been treated by such amazing people. Although I have not seen extreme first hand instances of inequalities in health care, I recognize how fortunate I am to have access to quality healthcare. I believe everyone deserves this. People are dying from mild colds and infections, dehydration, starvation and other things that are seemingly simple to avoid. The 2008 World HealthOrganization report stated “at least 200 million children globally are not achieving their full development potential.’”
As a fun way to get to know our new founders, we asked Genevieve what her top five favorite things were. She replied with her “Top Five Dream Destinations”:
