15 Founders in 15 Days – Selena Suhail-Sindhu, Rutgers University

It’s Day 10 on our 15 founders in 15 days segment, so let’s show some GlobeMed love to this incredible new founder: Selena Suhail-Sindhu. Selena is a rising junior at Rutgers University studying Anthropology and History. Check out this visionary excerpt from Selena’s application:

I see so much potential in the power of this enormous community of students, (about 40,000 students), but I also see a lack of passion and leadership resonating on campus to mobilize and empower them under any particular movement. With such a passionate and student based organization such as GlobeMed on campus, students at Rutgers could undoubtedly become the foundation of a dedicated chapter as well as a source of great fundraising for GlobeMed. The enormous size of this University could do much to raise money and empower a great number of young people for GlobeMed’s Imagine 2030 campaign and mission. In addition to its size, Rutgers diverse student body has much to offer GlobeMed.

As a fun way to get to know our new founders, we asked Genevieve what her top five favorite things were. She replied with her “Top Five Style Icons”:

The Sartorialist
Jackie Kennedy
Princess Diana
The Beatles
James Dean

Selena, you are going to be an incredible addition to the GlobeMed family! We cannot wait to witness all of the accomplishments that will sure to surface from GlobeMed at Rutgers University.
