GlobeMed at 2010 CGI U Conference
by Ankur Asthana on April 17, 2010
Over 25 students from six GlobeMed chapters are currently at the University of Miami representing GlobeMed at 2010 Clinton Global Initiative U annual conference.
The two-day meeting provides GlobeMed members with an opportunity to present their work, network with peers in other organizations, and make formal "commitments" to action, which are tangible projects each team pledges to complete within the coming year. A number of GlobeMed's projects have been specially recognized at this year's and at previous CGI U conferences, including personal recognition by Bill Clinton of CU-Boulder's work with Nepal Nutrition (picture of chapter president Mark Arnoldy with former President Bill Clinton).
Stay tuned as we will be updating this post with links to videos taken at the conference!
