GlobeMed commemorates 2011 World AIDS Day across the network
by Jill Shah on December 1, 2011

2011 marks the 30th anniversary of AIDS. This World AIDS Day, we recognize the double impact of the entire GlobeMed network in the fight against HIV. GlobeMed partner organizations continue to lead health initiatives to fight HIV/AIDS in partner communities around the world, while GlobeMed chapters spread awareness about the disease on their campuses and beyond. As a network, we unite today to remind ourselves of the vital need to continue to raise funds and awareness about HIV. (Above: an iconic photograph from GlobeMed at UNC on World AIDS Day 2008)
