Tracy Fuad - Social Media Ambassador at the GBC Conference

On June 1st and 2nd leaders in business and global health will convene in New York for a conference on health and corporate social responsibility. Along with several others from GlobeMed, I will be attending the conference and helping to amplify the conversation surrounding it. (That means filling my twitter feed with commentary and questions addressing the speakers and panelists I’ll be seeing: tune it at @tracyfuad). The GlobeMed network – its students, partners, and supporters -- has an enormous wealth of knowledge and experiences in global health, and it would be inspiring to see the network involved in the conversation. How should business be driving change for a healthy world?
I will specifically be covering a session addressing the question “What’s Next for Malaria & TB in Africa” and a session titled “Human Sustainability: Why Health is the Anchor of Corporate Social Responsibility.”
I’d love to hear your thoughts and questions. How have you seen businesses successfully or unsuccessfully driving change in your experiences? What could be improved?
