Start a New Chapter
GlobeMed's existing chapter network is at the heart of our organization and we aim to develop and sustain high quality, high impact programs. Thus, starting a chapter is a selective process in order to ensure our drive towards a standard of excellence. Our chapters are all led and driven by undergraduate students. However, we will soon be launching a strategy to involve and engage graduate students in our work, so stay out on the lookout for that!
We currently have two application cycles, one in June (to launch chapter Fall 2008) and one in January (to launch chapter Fall 2009). Applications for the June application cycle are due June 30, 2008. If you are interested in starting a chapter, please contact programs@globemed.org to find out more information and learn about this process. Anyone looking to start a new chapter must go through the formal GlobeMed application process to be recognized and receive formal recognition and central support.
