Summer Internships

	When and Where: 10 weeks at the national office in Evanston, IL (located 30 minutes north of Chicago) from June to August. Precise start and end dates are flexible. Applications DUE Monday, March 14th, 2011 at 12:00 am. We will make decisions about 2011 Summer Interns by mid-April. What you will do: As an intern you will be supporting GlobeMed in many diverse ways. Projects interns will work on in 2010 include: Refining globalhealthU and Campaigns materials Researching foundations and corporations to support GlobeMed Developing strategic plans for new programs such as alumni network You will also participate in weekly discussions where you will learn about global health issues, working in the non-profit sector, and student movement building. Who is eligible: Students currently involved in a GlobeMed chapter are encouraged to apply. Graduating seniors are also welcome! Stipend: A lodging stipend of $1500 will be provided to all Summer interns. Students are expected to arrange for their own lodging, but should ask National Office staff for ideas. APPLY HERE
