ADVANCE A MOVEMENT THIS SUMMER Join the GlobeMed Summer Intern Team!
This is the official call for applications for the 2011 GlobeMed Summer Internship. Join your peers along with the National Office Team to advance the movement for global health equity. 10 weeks at the National Office in Evanston, IL (located 30 minutes north of Chicago) from June to August. Precise start and end dates are flexible. Applications are DUE Monday, March 14th, 2011 at 12:00 am. We will make decisions about 2011 Summer interns by mid-April.  As an intern you will be supporting GlobeMed in many diverse ways: - Refining the globalhealthU curriculum, Campaigns, and GROW Internship materials
- Researching foundations and corporations to support GlobeMed
- Developing and supporting brand new programs such as the Alumni Network and HillTop Meetings
Additionally, you will participate in weekly discussions where you will learn about global health issues, working in the nonprofit sector and student movement building.Who is eligible:
Students currently involved with a GlobeMed chapter are encouraged to apply. Graduating seniors are also welcome!
Stipend:
A lodging stipend will be provided to all Summer Interns. Students are expected to arrange their own housing but should ask the National Office staff for ideas.APPLY NOW! |
