GlobeMed at Northwestern hosts the Global Get Down

GlobeMed at Northwestern was recently featured in their student newspaper publication 'North by Northwestern'. The article covered their latest event held for their partner, The HOPE Center in Ho, Ghana, to reduce child malnutrition in rural villages through a community nutrition project. Writer Noreen Nasir writes, "GlobeMed held its first annual Global Get Down dance party in Parkes Hall Saturday night. The event was held to raise money for the HOPE Center, a health clinic in Ho, Ghana and opened with student performances featuring dances and different styles of music. GlobeMed raised $915, surpassing their goal of $700."
