GlobeMed at Northwestern’s work profiled on NEED Magazine’s Blog and GlobalGiving.com

GlobeMed at Northwestern's work in Ghana with the HOPE Center has recently been recently in NEED Magazine's online blog as well as GlobalGiving.com.

The profile in NEED Magazine's blog briefly chronicles the progress that students at Northwestern have made in partnership with local leaders in Ghana to build and sustain a health center for rural villagers.  It features a series of photos recently taken at the Center by photojournalist Thomas Lee (http://www.stylocreations.com/).

Their current work with the HOPE Center, including equipping the facility with lab equipment as well as organizing a community-based program to reduce child malnutrition, is featured in GlobalGiving, a premiere website for philanthropy and global projects. The chapter is entered into a competition through which they are working to raise $4000 from atleast 100 donors by May 13th in order to have a permanent place on the website and get close to their goal of $12,000 in the short-term for their two immediate projects.
