Network Fundraising Tops $100,000

In September, our network of 32 chapters set a collective goal of raising $225,000 by May 2011 for our grassroots health partners around the world. By funding projects from the installation of latrines and water tanks to the renovation of health clinics and the training of community health workers, GlobeMed partnerships are saving lives and improving the health of people living in poverty.

As of January 31st, we are thrilled to report that our network has raised over $100,000 this year!

With only half of the year complete, we have already surpassed our fundraising total from last year. To date, GlobeMed chapters have raised over $350,000 to fund more than 100 health projects across the globe.

This accomplishment is the result of endless hours of work and creativity by GlobeMed students, who design student-led fundraising campaigns that run throughout the year, reaching out to their campuses and their home communities. Congratulations to all of our amazing students and partner organizations! We can't wait to see what you accomplish in the coming months.
