New chapters to be launched for the Fall of 2008
Posted on Mar 14, 2008 by Victor Roy
Evan Blank from Washington University in St. Louis, Stephanie Perez from UCLA, and Henry Nguyen from University of Oklahoma have been selected, after a challenging application process, to launch chapters at their universities for the coming Fall. They are using the spring and summer to gear up for the development of their efforts. Blank, for example, will be traveling to Uganda to work with a grassroots NGO, exploring water and sanitation projects that can improve health outcomes in the communities there. Nguyen has already formed a team and started working with a health clinic in Oklahoma City while Perez is currently gathering a team of students to search for potential projects and partnerships. All of them participated in the Annual Summit at Northwestern in early April and an exciting and transformative future awaits each of these campuses due to their promise and leadership!
