Over $6,000 raised at University of Michigan to equip Mali health center

On Friday evening, GlobeMed at University of Michigan hosted a benefit dinner titled "From Motown to Mali" to support their partner organizations in Detroit and Mali. The dinner brought together students, supporters, and representatives of their partner organizations for a night of great food, a silent auction, and presentations by Dave Law (Executive Director of Joy-Southfield Healh & Education Center) and Caitlin Cohen (US Executive Director of the Mali Health Organizing Project).
The dinner raised over $6,000 to fully equip the developing health center in Sikoroni, Mali.
