Partnerships take shape across the GlobeMed network

Each GlobeMed chapter has been working this year on building a strong relationship with a partner health organization, primarily in developing countries. Through partnerships, students are participating in the development of needed and effective health projects. Northwestern students, for example, are set to work with local partners on supporting a pharmacy in Ghana while Truman State students will be performing data analysis for a birthing home in Haiti. At University of Michigan, students are continuing their work with a health clinic in Michigan as well as forming a new partnership with an organization in Mali. In the coming months, GlobeMed will be launching plans on how these partnerships will be a foundation for strengthening health infrastructure.
