We will be screening the film Beyond Borders, starring Angelina Jolie and Clive Owen, which highlights the complexities of humanitarian aid. We will also be conducting a brief discussion about the methods of aid distribution, the compromising situation aid workers face, NGO accountability and their relation to human rights violations.

In addition, this event will serve as a catalyst for this year's Northwestern University Conference on Human Rights, themed: "Humanitarian Aid: Sovereignty, Accountability, and Effectiveness."
